As you can see, Shadows & Dust has a new layout, new sections and a new all around feel to it. I thought it was about time for a proper update, as I've neglected this site for far too long. New layout, but nothing much more than that, although --- I added the award I won over at The Vamped Awards for best content - which is great!!!, and obviously, with the new layout, comes newly designed pages, particularly for individual authors. Should be a fic update fairly soon, I hope. If not, it'll be the SDFA Round 9 Winners. But remember, we're always looking for submissions, and there are new characters and old characters that still have nothing submitted yet, as well as plenty of pairings we haven't got, so I'd love some submissions. Of course, if you want to submit a pairing/character that has already got a section then that's fine too!

You all would probably have noticed the recent change to navigation of the site, and I am pleased to announce that Shadows & Dust - The Archive is now fully complete and functional. You can now browse for fiction not only by author, but by pairing and by title. We have a featured author section, and the submissions sections are all working - you can submit fiction and links to the site. Submissions are now being accepted, and new pairings and authors are welcome. If you have any problems, or find anything is amiss with the site, please do not hesistate to contact me through the email link on the nav bar, and let me know what the problem is, and I will fix it ASAP.

I'd like to thank you for your patience during the previous months while the archive was being completed, and now, I'll shut up and let you get on with reading! Oh, and don't forget, you can always sign the guestbook to let me know what you think of the site!

Goodness me! Long time no updates!!! Well, as you can all probably see, today I uploaded the latest version of the archive. Almost everything has changed, so be sure to take a look around. There are a few new rules for submitting fiction, and more information about the fiction archived here. 800x600 users can hit F11 on their keyboards to view the site as was intended, however, 1024x768 users should have no problems. The fiction section is still under construction, and will be available as soon as possible, Along with a gigantic update. Sorry for my neglect of this archive, I got so caught up in everything else I was doing, that I let it slip for a while. I promise, I'll prove I'm still a great webwench, and Iwon't neglect again. So, take a look see at the new layout, look at the new links sections, be a pal and sign the guestbook, let me know what you think of the layout and stuff by emailing me if you'd like. If you have any problems, you can always get in touch. Fingers crossed everything is orking okay. I'd like to take this time to say thank you to you all for your support. I've changed a few more pages… The entry page, the about page, and all the disclaimer pages and the index and main pages too. I've also changed the My Fiction section which looks a lot better now. You can now pick which of my fics you would like to read by pairing. The fanart on the pages is mine. I finally worked out that I love photoshop when I know how to use it properly! So you could actually say, I've changed the whole site. And because I'm mad on Spike/Fred at the moment, I've used that pairing in the new layout!

Well, today has been another busy day. I've added the Fiction By Pairing Section - take a look and let me know what you think of the layout. I'd like to say a big thank you to Wajoma for letting me use her wonderful artwork to indicate the pairings, her site - Death Is Your Art is on the Links page. Shadows & Dust has won an award!!! The site has won the Content Award from Heat…Desire!!! It's up on the Awards page. I've added a guestbook, powered by Bravenet (which is great by the way) so 'Sign away and make my day!' I've also added a hit counter to the Index page, and I've added a Submissions page, with all the rules for submissions and recommendations. Please look at this before you submit/recommend any fiction.

As you can probably all tell, I've re-designed the site completely. The layout is completely different. I've added pictures on My Fiction pages. There are new links for Memberships and Affiliates, and there's a new Webrings page. I've added this update page and a fiction update page. I've also linked to my new Yahoo! Mailing List. There's a new layout for the author pages too. I've submitted an application for the Sexy, Almost Evil Webring, applied to join Feedback Pushers (see Memberships page for link). Hopefully, I'll be members of those in a few days.
